Academy Boulevard Work
• Temporary traffic realignments to facilitate work in the area
• Construct the first phase of the Founders Mutual Irrigation Channel (FMIC)
• Begin substructure construction for the Ramp C Bridge over Academy
• Continue mass earthwork on Proby Parkway between Academy and Hancock
• Relocate fiber and power on Academy
Hancock to Powers Work
• Install pipe, box culvert and drainage structures
• Begin Construction of the soundwalls from Hancock to Powers on the north and south side of the existing Proby Parkway
• Mass earthwork and completion of the new Proby Parkway westbound lanes
Project Milestones
June 7, 2010 through October 2010
• Close Proby Parkway from Hancock to Powers
October 2010
• Re-open Proby Parkway between Hancock Expressway and Powers Boulevard
September 2010
• Completion of Soundwalls on the north and south side of the existing Proby Parkway
August 2011
• Open Proby Parkway (Except Ramps D & E)
October 2011
• Open Proby Parkway (All Ramps)
